Yoga, Music, and Tea: An Infusion of Good Vibrations with Sunday, April 10 • 1:30–3:30 p.m. Come journey through the senses in a class designed to relax and revive you completely. Lakshmi’s Yoga sequence unfolds to Pablo’s chanting of ancient Yogic mantras, singing of traditional shamanic ceremonial melodies, and performing some surprising, uplifting music of today. During the class a large pot of herbal tea simmers, absorbing all the positive energy generated in the room through the Yoga flow and sound vibrations. The workshop ends by our sitting together sipping tea as a meditation. Includes Yoga: All Levels $25 Lakshmi Pidel, a 500-hour teacher through the Integral Yoga Institutes in India and New York, trained in Levels I and II, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, and Yoga for children. She has been teaching all ages at Integral Yoga Institute since 2010 and is the senior teacher for the children’s classes and Family Yoga. Lakshmi has been teaching movement and dance in New York Citysince 1986. Pablo Salazar Moreno, born in Ecuador, has a lifelong devotion to both sound and silence. Inspired by the consciousness and awareness of experience, he sings melodies of the Earth and harmonies of the heart: mantras, chants, one song, one love.
