Kelly first began meditation over a quarter of a century ago at the London Buddhist Center in England. She completed several silent insight meditation retreats, including her first 10-day silent retreat in Bodh Gaya, India, that was a life-changing experience. Kelly trained in Buddhist meditation and mindfulness practices in the 1980s and has continued with these practices to this day, in addition to yoga. Kelly incorporates mindfulness practices into her yoga teaching and into her life.
