The album contains eight tracks, all of which start with “untitled” and followed by a number, and maintains the experimental sound of some of Lamar’s previous records. But that’s not all — 2 Chainz also dropped a new album Thursday night. Yes, really. No, it’s not Christmas. 2 Chainz’s album, a collaboration with Lil Wayne titled ColleGrove — a combination of the rapper’s hometowns College Park, Ga., and Hollygrove, La. — features 12 tracks with names like “Smell like Money” and “Rolls Royce Weather Every Day.” It melds the in-your-face sounds of Lil Wayne and 2Chainz into one accessible, cohesive record — perfect for that long car ride to the beach for spring break.
