The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire is one of my favorite Deepak Chopra books. When you read it, you end up feeling, or rather knowing, the Universe is on your side and you are on purpose. This uplifting book gives you a sense of a Grand Symphony being played and that you are a vital part in the creation of the music.
In The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, Deepak Chopra blends discussion about spiritual matters with scientific perspectives extremely well. For instance, one minute he shares poetically and with great depth about the flight patterns of birds …. Saying how they fly so gracefully and do not bump into each other…. and he explains how they communicate and act non-locally. And then, in the next moment, he relates the whole discussion to science and engineering. He shares how engineers have studied bird formations for years in an attempt to find principles to reduce car accidents. And in the next moment, he can then bring it back to the spiritual aspects again, taking us back to our soul.
This is Deepak Chopra’s Gift: The perfect blend of Eastern Teachings and Western logic.
This is a beautiful dance between the metaphysical and the physical and he shows you how to bring it all together to increase the flow and ease of your life.
It comes down to intention:
“ is the key to transformation… Intent is a seed in consciousness…If you pay attention to it, it has within it the means for its own fulfillment…. Intent orchestrates all the creativity in the Universe.” ~ From The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, by Deepak Chopra
The book offers very clear teachings to help you use and tap into the real power of intention, beyond your finite mind, into your non-local, outside-of-limits, infinite mind. This is the incredible, Universal You, and Deepak guides you into it.
Three great Deepak Chopra Videos:
“If a child is poor in math but good at tennis, most people would hire a math tutor. I would rather hire a tennis coach.” ~Deepak Chopra
“If you want to reach a state of bliss, … Make a decision to relinquish 3 things: the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It’s very important to be aware of them every time they come up.” ~
