Hello! I’m a dedicated yoga student, primarily in the lineage, and my formal asana training is exclusively in the . Beyond styles and traditions, yoga is a tool for me to answer the question “Who am I?” more fully.
I began yoga at about . I started taking hatha classes while in high school. I received my first 500-Hour certification from in 2008 and taught yoga for four years after that. In 2012 – realizing the folly of managing a full-time, demanding professional career and teaching yoga part time – I turned the focus on my personal practice.
I attended the 500-hour Advanced Studies program at the in 2013 and 2014. I took a year of training with Judith Hanson Lasater, and I’m studying at the in Pune, India for two months in 2015.
While recognizing there’s a time and place for most yoga styles, I appreciate the Iyengar method for its keen focus on techniques of body movement and alignment. I’m a big fan of Restorative Yoga and would choose it as my “desert island” yoga practice.

I’m an by and by trade. I have great affinity for entrepreneurship, technology, and startups. As of May 2015, I’m taking a sabbatical from full time employment and traveling the world with my husband to take pictures of cats.
I’m fluent in Vietnamese, and thanks to a year of living in France, I’ve learned to say non merci when offered a plate of roquefort cheese and mais oui! to joie de vivre.
