Regular Practice of Natural Meditation (Universal Meditation) results in : Flushing out the carcinogenic radio-frequency electromagnetic waves accumulated in the brain and body due to the use of cell phones, computers and other electronic devices. Providing a stable physiological base in controlling diabetes, blood pressure, heart problems etc., along with medicines. Elimination of Tensions, Pressures and Stresses of day-to-day life. Increased tolerance, reduced irritability. Reduction of Pain , Sorrow, Anger & Frustration. Elimination of Perversions of mind and Suicidal tendencies. Increased calmness of mind (Peace). The very meaning of Meditation provides the true definition of Meditation. The word Meditation means “ to channelise the thinking process one pointedly by just focusing the attention of the mind on a chosen issue, concept, object, or on a specific THOUGHT ”.Even worrying deeply and constantly on a problem amounts to Meditation, of course resulting in bad effects. Thus,Meditation is simply nothing but channelised, one pointed deep and constant thinking made on an issue, concept, object or on a specific thought.Considering the above right and correct definition of Meditation, the concept that mind has to be made BLANK free from all thoughts is a misplaced notion. Such a process is NOT Meditation. It is not only opposed to the very nature of the mind but also opposed to the true Meditation process. In a true Meditation process the very thinking nature of the mind is made use of to turn it inward so as to reach one’s own pure consciousness. Artificial blanking of the mind leads to dull, inefficient and ineffective state of mind. Therefore, it is necessary to know the right and correct definition of Meditation in order to practise right Meditation. Sit comfortably either on a chair having a perpendicular back or sit on the floor on a mat, as you prefer. Make sure that you are sitting comfortably in order to avoid unnecessary movements during Meditation.Keep your head and back straight but be easy, relaxed and comfortable. Lock your tongue and lips i.e., do not move your tongue and lips because Meditation is purely a mental process. Now, inhale and exhale deeply about 10-15 times i.e. take deep breaths. Now, close your eyes gently and comfortably (do not open your eyes till you complete the process of Meditation). Now, easily and comfortably focus the attention of your mind at the spot between the eyebrows (i.e., at the junction point of nose and eyebrows) and REPEAT the word “SHAANTIHI” again and again only mentally, without moving tongue and lips, with simple and easy concentration, for about THIRTY minutes. Come out of Meditation after 30 minutes and slowly get into your activities. A You tube video demonstration on practising Natural Meditation is shown below Owing to the repetition of a chosen word “SHAANTIHI” or any of your chosen mantra, in meditation, centrifuging of the conscious mind takes place and there will be an inwardmovement of the conscious mind into its own subconscious layers. Then, what is hidden in the subconscious layers of the mind tries to come out in thought forms The subconscious mind is the storehouse of accumulated tensions, pressures and Karma (Sum of actions and reactions) of innumerable past lives. Some of these hidden forces, depending upon the condition of the mind and body on a given day, are flushed out during meditation in thought forms. It is just like digging a well where removing the mud is also a part of the process. Therefore thoughts during meditation are not only natural but also an indication of the purification of the subconscious layers of the mind. So, thoughts are bound to arise during meditation and grip your conscious mind till a related force is flushed out each time. Thoughts are not at all a disturbance in meditation but only an expression of the outgoing of negativity (tensions, pressures, stresses and karmic forces). Therefore, thoughts will be part andparcel of meditation so long as the purification of karma is going on. The menacing rape and violence on girls and women have become a big headache for the Indian society. However much hue and cry we rise, this heinous crime is continuing unabated. The Government will not be able to protect every individual. Therefore, it is necessary for every girl or women to protect herself. This self-protection approach by the feminine force alone can bring down rape and violence against them.
