Meditation At our facility Meditation is taught as part of each of the Internal Martial Arts programs that we offer. Qigong is a part of the Tai Chi, Bagua Zhang and Xing- I Chuan programs. These may be considered to be forms of standing meditation practices.
When one has trained beyond the level of trying to remember choreography, these three styles begin to become more and more spontaneous and require less and less mental attention to perform. At a point, the forms begin to be performed on ‘auto- pilot’. At this point they begin to become moving meditation. With practice within this state of mind, many of the classic benefits of Meditation begin to manifest. Some of these include deep relaxation and stress reduction, internal energy balancing, Qi cultivation, and expanding consciousness.
Meditation may also be studied as private, semi- private or on a small group basis as well. Work place or Corporate programs and other off- site programs may also be set up according to the needs and location of the interested groups. Sitting, standing, moving meditation, or any combination of these methods are available. There are many options and methods available beyond those taught in the group internal martial arts classes.
