Chakra Affirmation Meditation Begin with concentrating on your breath, enjoying a few deep relaxing breaths. With each breath, allow your body to relax. Let the relaxation flow into your forehead, face, jaw, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, upper back, lower back, abdomen, hips, thighs, knees, calves, ankles and feet. Start with your Base Chakra, imagine this as a spinning disk located at the base of your spine. The red root chakra that represents Earth, and the inner power which helps you to fully accept life here on Earth. It’s where your survival instincts are located and where your power to achieve your goals is held. It gives you vitality, satisfaction, material security, stability, primal trust, stillness and courage. It makes you feel safe and secure. And you are able to repeat silently”I HAVE”. Moving to the Sacral chakra, see this as a spinning orange disk located just below your navel. The Sacral works with your needs and desires, your enthusiasm and union inrelationships, openness with Nature and all living things, and gives you personal creativity. You are able to repeat silently “I FEEL”. The solar plexus chakra; see this as a yellow spinning disk just above your navel. This is the home of personal power, your soul chakra, your own social identity, your self-control, your energy, your will, your peace within, your radiance and joy, your inner harmony, your acceptance of yourself, your strength and vitality. You can repeat silently “I CAN”. The Heart Chakra, is coloured green and located in your heart centre. This allows you to give unconditionally your divine love from within. You are able to achieve harmony, forgiveness, healing and compassion, understanding, transformation, warmth and sharing, sincerity, devotion and selflessness. With this chakra you can repeat silently “I LOVE”. The throat chakra is a blue spinning disk in your throat area, it enables you to be free and creative. It gives you inspiration, confidence, integrity, wisdom and communication. With this chakra you can silently repeat “I SPEAK”. The third eye chakra, of indigo blue in color is a spinning disk in the area of your forehead, is your inner vision, your insight, your clairvoyance, your imagination, your extra-sensory perception, your concentration, your peace of mind, your direction of your own will. With this chakra you can silently repeat “I SEE”. The crown chakra, of a delicate mauve lilac color is a spinning disk at the top of your head, is the power of your perfection, your unity with God, the divine wisdom and consciousness. You can achieve bliss, understanding and enlightenment. You can silently repeat “I KNOW”. With all these gifts that are within us to help us on our earthly journey, we silently say that we are grateful to realize that these chakras are part of our spiritual and physical being. And we are able to silently say “I HAVE… I FEEL… I CAN… I LOVE… I SPEAK… I SEE… I KNOW”. And I am grateful that the divine light hasprepared me so well. Now just take a few moments to be still, within your own thoughts and consciousness, fully enjoying and accessing the energy that each of us holds within us. Beach Cove Meditation Begin with concentrating on your breath and enjoying a few deep relaxing breaths. With each breath, allow your body to relax. Let the relaxation flow into your forehead, face, jaw, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, upper back, lower back, abdomen, hips, thighs, knees, calves, ankles and feet. Imagine yourself standing in a patch of grass, in the middle of summer, overlooking the sea and a beautiful beach cove nearby. See the beautiful view. Feel the gentle breeze in your hair. Hear the seabirds calling to each other and the sounds of the waves gently rolling in. There are a few steps down to the beach with sturdy handrail made of old rope which you can hold on to. Begin to descend the steps and as you travel down towards the beach, the scene below becomes clearer and clearer in yourmind. As you reach the soft sand, you can remove your shoes and begin to walk. Your feet sink into the sand and as you do this, you leave footprints behind you. You walk towards a comfortable lounger, which you can lay down on if you wish. As you relax, perhaps running your fingers through the sand and feeling the grains slip through your fingers. Looking out at sea and watching the waves lap against the shore and breathing in that refreshing sea air. So now, in this beautiful scenery, take this moment to contemplate. To mentally ask your higher self or the spirit world for guidance on any subject that you feel is pressing. Allow any guidance to come to you, in the form of symbols, words, images or even just a sense of knowing. And take some time now to absorb this. When you are ready, mentally send out a message of thanks for this experience. Now begin to walk back across the beach towards the steps. As you make your ascent, allowing yourself to become more aware or your physical bodyand your surroundings until you are ready to come back to your everyday surroundings. Meditation to Revive your Energy Find yourself somewhere comfortable where you can sit and not be interrupted. Switch off the phones and the doorbell, put on some loose comfortable clothing and sit in your favourite chair. Make sure you have a glass of water beside you. If you feel better doing so, light a candle and sit quietly taking in the restful energy around you. Breathe deeply and calmly. Breathe in white light and breathe out negativity. Do this several times…….breathe in white light and breathe out negativity. You are beginning to feel yourself becoming “centred”. If you feel that it’s right for you now, say a short prayer of protection or the Lords’ Prayer – the best protection of all. Loosen all your muscles one by one, from your feet up through your legs and thighs, through your stomach, back and chest, your arms, neck, shoulders and head. Relax and know that you arebeing watched over and cared for. Now expand your aura – the light and energy that surrounds your body – make it larger and larger and expand it to fill the room, then right out of the room, right out into nature, right out into the Universe……………………… I want you to imagine that you are walking through a beautiful green meadow…..the air is clear, the day is bright and sunny but not too hot. You take off your shoes and walk through the grass, feeling the soft velvety texture as it presses against your feet…… the grass smells so good. You breathe in the fresh air and the sweet smell of the grass and the countryside. The meadow slopes gently downhill and you follow your pathway down gently to the bottom of the meadow. You find yourself in front of a five bar wooden gate which opens for you as you reach it and you naturally go through into the next field. The sight and smell of thousands of wild flowers almost takes your breath away for a moment and you drink in the perfume and thedeeply and calmly. Breathe in white light and breathe out negativity. Now expand your aura – the light and energy that surrounds your body – make it larger and larger and expand it to fill the room, then right out of the room, right out into nature, right out into the Universe……………………… I want you to imagine that you’re walking along the edge of a field towards a small wood just ahead of you. The sun is out and the air is bright and fresh….it’s neither too hot nor too cold….and everywhere is veryvery peaceful. Just stop for a moment and take in the fresh air and the peace and quiet. You feel wonderful. It invigorates you and relaxes you at the same time. Remember that feeling. You make your way further along the path and enter the wood – it’s not dark – the sunlight plays with the leaves and casts playful shadows through the trees. You can smell the damp earth and through the dappled sunlight you can see a haze of blue in the distance. The most beautiful perfume of bluebells reaches you. Stop right there and take it in – drink in that beautiful aroma and wonder at the sheer beauty of the healing blue haze around you. You walk slowly further into the wood, feeling the twigs breaking under your feet and the softness of the leaf mould and moss as you make your way along. You come to the centre of the wood. All around you are hundreds and thousands of bluebells, bobbing their heads in the gentle breeze, wafting that beautiful scent around you. The sight and smellalmost takes your breath away and you wonder at the beauty of it all. Breathe in that incredible healing energy and know that it helps you. Ahead of you is a large log – part of an old tree which has fallen and settled in the middle of the wood. You find you can sit against it comfortably and you rest your back against one of its strong branches. Even though this tree has fallen, it still has a lot of energy and you feel this reaching you as you sit there amongst the bluebells and the woodland creatures and birds, which are going about their daily business, unaware of you sitting there. A little robin comes close to peck at some loose soil where you have trodden and looks right up at you – into your eyes. You know he is aware of your thoughts and you of his, and he tells you all is well. Further away you see beetles and ants scurrying busily along – making the most of the time they have to gather food and nesting bits. You marvel at their energy – such small creatures and yetunited in their energy and intent. You wonder why humans seem unable to work in the same way. Whilst you’re sitting there watching the wood and all the activity within it, you feel yourself daydreaming and in this contented state, you ask your Guide to come forward and sit with you for a while and perhaps give you some information or a message from the spirit world. I’ll leave you here for a short while to sit with your Guide and absorb the loving energy and all that is given to you. Know that this is your special place and somewhere you can come to at any time to meet your Guide and get help and encouragement and love in abundanc Now it’s time to make your way back. You thank your Guide for all the knowledge and help that has been given to you and know you will meet again very shortly and that he or she is always with you, looking out for you, loving you and guarding and guiding you. You get up from the seat against the tree and turn to make your way back up the pathwaythrough the wood. You feel so contented and secure in the knowledge that your Guide is always there for you when needed. You breathe in deeply, getting the life back into your body after the dreamy state you have been in. You touch the old tree and thank it for the energy, running your hands along the rough old bark and knowing its strength within. Now you walk along the pathway through the wood, retracing your steps. Here and there birds flit from tree to tree, making sure you are safely on the way back home. You find the path at the edge of the field and the bright sunlight greets you again. As you walk, you feel you are energised and invigorated. You know this is a place you can return to at any time. Now bring yourself slowly back to your room and your comfortable chair. Start to feel your fingers and toes “coming back to life”, gently move your arms and legs and take a deep breath………..and another……….and another. Take a sip or two of water…….welcomeback. Snuff out the candle if you had one alight. Remain in your chair for a few more minutes until you are ready to get up and go. If you have paper and pencil near you, remember to write down all the information you were given and who and what you saw. Put the date on this paper and keep it safely so that you can see, at a later date, how your spiritual knowledge has grown day by day.
