At one point during a stint of undefined depression, I decided that I was not investing enough in my spirituality, so I tried to meditate. With a mind as active as mine, it is difficult for me to meditate anytime, never mind when I am in the middle of a mental crisis. Regardless, I kept reading about the benefits of meditation, and by this point I was reaching out for anything that might help me find peace. I figured I would gamely give it another go, even though I had taken a meditation class in college and, well, sucked at it.
