Not too long ago I had no idea how powerful meditation is. As we all know, we came to this earth with nothing, and we are going to leave with nothing. Why not take the time and re-connect with yourself with your higher power, get to know yourself better. You will notice a huge difference in your thoughts, your actions, your decisions. Different people use meditation in a different ways, but one thing\s for sure its – popularity is growing fast. Some people are listening to their own breath, others to the sounds of waterfalls and waves and some are incorporating yoga. We can use meditation for professional & personal benefits too. To increase productivity & energy, or reduction of depression, stress, headaches, muscle tension…, etc. Meditation is about balancing; it begins a process of multi-dimensional actualization. Today we live extremely busy lives and almost everything we do is on the ‘Go’. We lose balance, and that’s what gets us off our natural physical and psychological path,and this is where all the headaches begin. There is no short cut to meditate – it’s a process of an ongoing journey to wholeness and fulfillment. It takes time, it doesn’t happen overnight, and the more you do it, the better… I am meditating for just about few months or so and already can see that I have different levels of awareness. You will start noticing things that were there before, but you have never paid attention to them. It feels like you are awake more than ever before. I’ll say it gives you the power to see yourself from a different side, from a different dimension, so you can make corrections on your moves and decisions. It is an incredible feeling. I remember in one of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s speeches he said ” You should get up as soon as you wake up no matter what time it is even if it’s 3 am in the morning. It doesn’t matter how many hours you, had to sleep, don’t even count them, just get up if you wake up there is a reason for that”. If you are not going to get up, atleast, put your foot on the floor so you’ll sleep with one foot on the floor – not as comfortable. Later on, during the day, you can meditate to recharge your body. He explained that early in the morning you have a clear and pure connection with our creator. In the early mornings of the day is the most quite time of and you can concentrate and receive the message that your creator has for you. You can hear your thoughts… It could be an idea, a name you may see a book or quote, something that you are waiting for in your project or life. Dr. Wayne Dyer shared that no matter how many hours of sleep you will have, you can meditate once or twice during the day, and that will replace the lost hours of sleep, and you’ll feel great and full of energy just like if you had full 6-8 hours of sleep the night before.
