Hi, I am Yannis. During my studies on Civil Engineering back in 1990, I discovered the immense world of the Eastern internal martial arts in studying the famous system of Master Mantak Chia called Universal Healing Tao. My first practice was mainly on Qi Gong, but soon after I also started learning the imperial Chinese massage called Chi Nei Tsang. I discovered how much I was enjoying helping others by touch to enhance their own energy flow and thus heal themselves. This lead me in further studies on Shiatsu and Reiki. In year 2006 I decided to travel to Thailand to study Thai massage, the one massage that had captured my heart, because of its simplicity and effectiveness. Ever since Thai massage became my passion and the tool to express my love to people and life in general. My years with Qi Gong have given me the gift to “feel” people’s needs and energy imbalances. I use this gift in my practice and try to pass it to my students through hard work and discipline, but also through loveand inspiration. Today, as a certified associate instructor of Master Mantak Chia’s Universal Healing Tao System, I teach Conscious Breathing, Healing Sounds, Chinese Yoga, Qi Gong and Meditation. But mostly I teach and practice Thai massage as a way of living life through “insightful touching”, as one could freely translate the Sanskrit phrase “Kavi Hasta”. A full list of my teachers follows

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. From my early teen years I was interested more in the spiritual matters of life. I have travelled extensively throughout Africa and Asia, because I have always been interested in the healing traditions of these cultures. After some years of job-hopping in different areas of employment I finally decided to change my lifestyle towards a more personal-growth path. Suffering myself from a cervical spine syndrome I wanted to try on me how effectively and deeply the holistic therapies could help me heal. In the process of my own healing I discovered that Traditional Thai Massage is not only a very deep and powerful form of healing, but also a spiritual path. I now felt that my calling was to share my personal experience and knowledge with as many people as I could. Since then I became devoted to Thai massage healing and teaching. I have studied Thai Massage with master teacher Asokananda and with Arno L’ Hermitte of the Sunshine Network as well as inthe European School of Shiatsu with a total of more than 600 teaching hours. I have also attended seminars on Pranic Healing with Helen Weeks and Reiki I and II with Eleni Skondra and III with Vally Aggelidi. In my healing practice today I incorporate Thai Massage and Reiki in every session, creating an even more dynamic and powerful experience. I have also been practicing Vipassana meditation for some years now.
