All are welcomed to this simple and revitalizing ancient practice. Come and directly engage in sitting, walking, bowing, and voice meditation, in an atmosphere of noble silence with Dharma Teacher Senpai Lewis-Bastias or one of his Associate Teachers.
This bi-monthly Sunday morning meditation practice is strictly devoted to cultivate the mind and presence without any lecturing or discussion. You may practice any form of silent sitting meditation you feel comfortable with such as zazen, vipassana or shikantaza. Zafu cushions and chairs are available; however you can bring your cushion if you wish. Wear causal but nice and comfortable clothing.

About the Unique Meditation Space
The meditation space is unmatched in Connecticut. You might have to go to Japan to experience a similar traditional atmosphere. The room is adorned with light colored wood with traditional designs that create a serene ambiance that soothes the mind and senses. An entire wall is a clear glass window that overlooks a spectacular Zen garden and adjacent tatami room.
