April Class Schedule We welcome you to drop in to any yoga class that suits your schedule, no registration required! $$$$ Drop-in rates for yoga classes vary by instructor but are around $10-$15. Please contact the instructor for pricing by email (provided under the “Instructor” tab). Randy and David’s class drop-in rates: $10 for 60 min. Shared class cards (between Randy & David’s classes): pre-pay for 10 classes, get two classes FREE (overall cost/class = $8.34). For your convenience you can go to our Purchase Online tab to use PayPal to purchase a class card. All Levels: Come as you are! All Level classes are suitablefor beginners, masters and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise.: Ashtanga: involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Chakra Balancing Yoga: If you’re looking for more balance in your practice look no further! Week by week you will participate in a practice designed to enhance your understanding of the chakras with an asana class focused on individual energy centers of of the chakras as a whole. Chakra Balancing Yoga- if you are looking for more balance in your practice look no further! Week by week you will participate in a practice designed to enhance your understanding of the chakras with an asana class focused on individual and or collective chakras. We will meet forthree weeks and take one week off between each chakra. Drop in at any point you need not starts from the first class. Gentle Yoga: A soothing and eclectic class. Suitable for all levels of practice. Intermediate PLUS: David’s classes will offer an engaging asana practice PLUS an introduction to inversions. Level 1 – Beginner: classes are designed for those who have had no previous exposure to yoga, but are eager to learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. The beginner student needs slow-paced direction and a great level of detail so they can become familiar with basic yoga poses and use of the breath. Level 2 – Experienced Beginner: classes are designed for those who have had some exposure to yoga, including an introduction to basic yoga poses and proper alignment. The experienced beginner student would like to explore their practice and begin to become more familiar with poses and use of the breath. Level 3 – Intermediate: classes are designed for thosewho have a good understanding of the basic yoga postures, and have begun to explore a wider variety of poses and styles. The intermediate student understands the relationship between breath and movement. Morning Yoga: Start the day stretching, bending and getting ready for the day ahead. The class is eclectic with variations of the Sun Salutation and other traditional asana (poses). modifications are made-suitable for experiences beginners and up. Restorative Yoga (offered once a month on the 2nd Saturday): A therapeutic style of yoga utilizing props and a handful of supported poses held for extended periods (10 minutes or longer) this grounding, peaceful and meditative practice promotes a sense of physical, mental and emotional balance and reduces the effects of stress and anxiety. SUN YOGA: class begins with an inspirational quote, followed by 5 minutes of mindful meditation. The practice is a modified and abridged version of the Primary Ashtanga Series,. It is a moderately pacedset sequence of poses practiced with vinyasas. TNT Thursday Night Themed (Hatha-Yoga)This class is structured around a specific asana (pose) or topic, (i.e.: hip openers, shoulders, hamstrings, balance etc.). Check our FB page for weekly details. Vinyasa Flow: A flowing series of connected poses that challenge the mind, body and spirit. Vinyasa Power Yoga Level 3: A class for those with prior yoga experience and an established asana practice! Bring water and a towel for this strong Vinyasa style class! Based on the classic Astanga practice, this practice uses a steady cycle of inhales and exhales to provide the practitioner with a calming, mental focal point. This type of breathing is linked together with with the flow of asana to create the internal heat necessary for purification of the body through increased circulation and sweating. Women’s Hatha: A class dedicated to the physical and emotional needs of women. Yin Yang Yoga is designed to enhance recovery from athletic activitiesand improve flexibility through a combination of a slow flow vinyasa followed by passive yin postures with long holds, reaching deep into connective tissues and muscle facia proving a healing experience to joints and mind. All levels, no experience needed. 75 min Class $12 drop in Yoga Conditioning is a progressive sequence class designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, and balance through Vinyasa Flow (one breath, one movement), creating internal heat through Ujjiay pranayama (Ocean Breath). This class builds to a peak of physical and mental experience ending with appreciation of surrender postures and relaxation. Upbeat music for inspiration.
