Yoga
I teach Ashtanga Yoga, classic hatha style bringing physical, mental, and emotional awareness to help facilitate personal growth.
It is as much about the philosophy and the breath as it is about the physical asanas (postures). I aim to incorporate wisdom and inspiration from the yoga philosophy for students to take into their daily lives.
Even those who are not used to physical exercise find numerous benefits from this type of Yoga. Its foundation is through careful alignment of the body as you hold the poses. This precision and the awareness that comes with it deepens appreciation of our bodies and will lead to tremendous growth – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Meditation
Science is catching up with what ancient wisdom has always known, the benefits of meditation can be used to treat many ills, the mind can heal the body, science has now proven that meditation physically changes the brain.
If you’ve not meditated before you’re probably thinking of hippies sitting on cushions surrounded by incense. Meditation is now much more mainstream and even being practiced in successful businesses as a way of tackling the issue of stress and improving mental performance. When our mind is quiet and still we can tune into the important things like how we feel and what’s going on around us, rather than thinking of what’s for tea, the argument you had last week or our to do list.
Meditation is very relaxing and not just whilst you’re doing it but provides benefits long after and an ongoing practice can help improve many areas of your life.
