When regularly practiced, first of all something very simple happens:
“You feel good!”
Your breathing becomes deeper, the consumption of oxygen improves, you have fewer stress hormones in your blood. Your brain shows you better ways to relax by increasing the output of Alpha- and Theta waves. But regular Meditation also increases the plasticity of the brain thereby opening the brain’s neurological structures as they become less fixated.
