Dr. Japa K. Khalsa DOM received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed her Masters of Oriental Medicine at the Midwest College of OM. She is a Board certified and licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncturist and now practices Acupuncture, Injection and IV Therapies in Espanola, NM.
Dr. Khalsa is one of the few Doctor’s of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico licensed for Expanded Prescriptive Authority which allows her to do Trigger point injections amd IV therapy with vitamins and homeopathics.
Some of her specialties include pain relief, women’s health, joint pain, back pain, knee pain, sports injuries, fatigue/stress and weight loss. Her practice combines traditional acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, injection therapy, massage and stress relief techniques to help each person transform and create optimal health.
