Forgiveness Quotes of the Bible When we have been hurt, abused or insulted we often turn to Bible verses about Forgiveness. We are all human and we do sin. The way to forgiveness is having God in you. All else is denial, or play acting. True forgiveness is one of the sweetest and most pleasurable emotions that  you can feel. You will experience a flood of peace and joy with true forgiveness. Love is now present where hatred once ruled. This is God’s grace at work in us. Deciding to let go of thought of revenge and resentment is forgiveness. The pain and hurt might always remain, but to forgive will help you focus on positive life. Forgiveness will lead to understanding, compassion and empathy for those that hurt you. This does not mean you justify the act of wrong by the other person. Peace will come to you that will help you go on with your life. The heart of a little child is so forgiving and loving. Is that really forgiveness? God is aiming for truth from within us. Often this characteristic will follow someone to adulthood and will substitute the real forgiveness.  Forgiveness is not avoiding what is true. You must humble yourself and deal with the matter, painful or not. Nothing is hide from the sight of God. NOTHING. Bible verses about forgiveness   Heb 8:12 (NIV) “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”  `Isa 43:25 (NIV) “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” Forgiveness will free your soul, get rid of your anger, it will give you such an inner peace. God has power and mercy to forgive us, so we should forgive others. We are told to ask for forgiveness seven times seventy. Can you imagine doing that? Can you imagine a world where loving your enemies was the first priority? We should have no doubt in our heart we are forgiven. This gives usthe heart God desires us to have. Mat 6:12 (NIV) Forgive us our debts, AS WE also have forgiven our debtors. Many time in our life you will be faced with asking for forgiveness and others asking you for forgiveness. When you are in trouble and beg for forgiveness and mercy, promising you will do better next time. If you are blessed you may have a second chance, then you turn around and not forgive someone that ask your forgiveness. Bear one another’s burden, forgive each other, be clothed in compassion, kindness, gentleness, humility and patience. Bible verses about forgiveness are very helpful when we are in need of comfort and knowing what we should do. 1 Pet 3:9 (NEB) Do not repay wrong with wrong, or abuse with abuse; on the contrary, retaliate with blessing, for a blessing is the inheritance to which you yourselves have been called. Luke 6:27-37 (NRS) “But I say to you that listen, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those whoabuse you… Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you?
