You meditate, and you cherish the calming presence it brings to your life.
You’re ready to help others tap into meditation’s power.
But first, there are just a few things you need to learn…
I don’t believe in death by powerpoint. My classes are fun, energizing and community-oriented. Because I keep the classes small, I’m able to organically adjust the content and delivery according to the needs of each group. You’re also encouraged to contribute your own knowledge, experiences and ideas.
The Meditation Teachers Certificate consists of five modules delivered in-class for a total of 50 hours, with a minimum of 50 hours home study. That works out to eight full days in my home classroom in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne, over the course of three months.
Get ready to take your love of meditation to a whole new level.
Throughout the course, you will:
• Meditate regularly, taking your own meditation experience to new heights • Learn about different styles of meditation in their cultural and historical contexts • Create your own meditations, and gain experience leading them in a group environment • Complete a range of at-home exercises including meditation CD reviews and journaling • Participate in nourishing group work and class discussions • Develop skills to help you plan and lead groups, and work with different personality types • Experiment with incorporating crystals, cards, and music into your meditation practice • Create a vision board to help you understand where your new knowledge and skills may take you • Receive helpful ongoing feedback from me, including a one-on-one session to be used at any time throughout the course
