Looking for quick win solutions doesn’t work as there is always some effort you will have to put in. The same goes if you’re looking to improve brain your power. Whilst it’s never effort-free it doesn’t always have to be difficult. Here are Improving Mind’s 10 Top Tricks to improve your mind, body and soul.
Exercise. That’s right, we’ve started with the most difficult of the 10 first. Get your body moving. Get off that couch and put your trainers on as it’s time to go for a walk (at the very least). The science is that without exercise on a regular basis, your arteries will begin to clog and blood vessels lose their ability to pump blood. To prevent this from happening, moving everyday will help you not only feel great, but improve your brain power too! Healthy blood flow, healthy brain. We recommend getting your body moving for at least 25 minutes per day. Perhaps you could adjust your lifestyle by taking the stairs in place of the elevator. How about taking the slightly longer route around the office?
As children we constantly learn new things and science has shown that the process of learning creates inside the brain. Like many adults you may have found that you’ve stopped learning as well as testing your brain for recalling information. Memory is like a muscle. If you do not train it, it stops functioning as well as it should. Reading books, doing things outside of the same old routine will help keep these connections forming and thus, keep your brain sharp!
