Mind, Body, Spirit Connection extends an open invitation for you to participate in an extraordinarily moving meditation event on Wednesday, March 25 from 5:15-6:15pm in the UNC Student Union Room 3201.
Open your mind and heart to a new experience of meditation to the healing sounds of the ancient tribal instrument: the didgeridoo, featuring sound therapist and shaman Daran Wallman who will help balance and clear our energy fields and align us with the unified field of sacred sound. This will be a sound healing experience where we can naturally access our own intuitive wisdom and guidance.
The didgeridoo has been shown to alleviate the symptoms of sleep apnea, assist in resolving eating disorders, help with breathing issues such as asthma and emphysema, and help heal addictions. Its resonance and vibrations are particularly effective in increasing mental focus, relaxing the mind, body and spirit and promoting health and well-being.
This is a casual gathering. We will be sitting on the floor. There will be a brief introduction and then we will begin. If you come in late, be respectfully quiet and sit down. The same applies if you must leave early as not to interrupt Daran and other participants.
Daran is renowned in his profession and has an extensive clientele. MBSC is pleased to offer this rare opportunity as an awakening to the world of sound healing free of charge to UNC students.
